We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while leading and supervising kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen workspace. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and address any customer feedback or concerns promptly. Assist in training new kitchen staff, instilling best practices in food preparation and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and best practices within the hospitality sector. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to help others develop their skills within the kitchen.
