Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every customer receives a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the coffee preparation area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience in a barista or customer service role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management. A genuine passion for coffee and food preparation is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
