We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks
Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment safely and efficiently
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and handling payments
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory checks and restocking
Follow all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations
Upsell products where appropriate and promote loyalty schemes or seasonal offers
Requirements:
Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
