Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Deli Che to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also making fresh sandwiches to order, ranging from a Bacon Roll, to a Build Your Own, to a Caesar's Salad and everything in between.

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the cafe. Participate in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. A friendly disposition with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 25 per week
