Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista Server & front of house All Rounder to join our small team.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment, and providing outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on coffee preparation and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate our FOH systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Tea Room service area, including equipment, workstations, and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other FOH products. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change to customers as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Experience

Previous barista experience or strong background in coffee preparation is preferred. Familiarity with FOH till systems is advantageous. Proven experience in customer service within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong time management. Skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling is required. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is necessary for maintaining compliance.
