Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining basic math skills for accurate till management. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
