The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in court, providing expert legal advice, and preparing legal documents. Duties
Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and negotiations
Provide expert legal advice to clients on various matters, ensuring they understand their rights and options
Draft, review, and amend legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and affidavits
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes
Collaborate with solicitors and other legal professionals to prepare cases effectively
Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements
Attend client meetings to discuss case progress and provide strategic guidance
Qualifications
Qualified Barrister with full membership of the Bar of England and Wales or Scotland
Proven experience in litigation, advocacy, or related legal fields
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous settlements or outcomes
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach with the ability to think critically and strategically about legal issues
