We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Barrister to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in court, and negotiate on their behalf. Duties
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, and contracts.
Provide expert legal advice to clients on their rights, obligations, and potential courses of action.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favourable outcomes.
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and stay updated with relevant legislation and case law.
Collaborate with solicitors, clients, and other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.
Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines.
Attend client meetings to discuss case progress and explain complex legal issues clearly.
Qualifications
Qualified Barrister with full membership of the Bar of England and Wales.
Proven experience in litigation, advocacy, or specialised areas of law is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure advantageous settlements for clients.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for clear explanation of complex legal concepts.
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.
