We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and the ability to communicate complex concepts in an engaging manner. This role involves providing personalised instruction to students, helping them to improve their understanding of different theories and beauty treatments. The Tutor will also be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging students to achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in subjects such as Beauty, Massage, Nail Technology and Holistic Therapies; adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Communicate effectively with students and parents to discuss progress and areas for improvement. Employ time management skills to plan and organise tutoring sessions efficiently. Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation, ensuring they grasp key concepts. Engage in upselling educational resources or additional tutoring services when appropriate. Manage social media platforms to promote tutoring services and engage with the community. Maintain a professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients or potential clients.

Experience

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Experience in upselling educational materials or services is advantageous. Familiarity with social media management is a plus, as it will aid in promoting tutoring services. Proficiency in English is essential A background that demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to work independently is preferred.

Must have

Relevant Teaching Qualifications (PTTLS, AET, A1, CAVA etc ) Relevant Vocational Qualifications (Beauty, Aesthetics, Massage etc)
