Bid Manager

with deep understanding of the security sector to help us design and deliver standout solutions that are as intelligent as they are people-centred.



This role is ideal for someone with experience in regulated or complex environments who enjoys collaborating across functions, thinking strategically, and turning insight into action. You'll be leading on key bid opportunities that influence how our services are delivered and experienced--making a real difference from day one.

About the Role:





As a Bid Manager you will be responsible for:


Managing end-to-end bid delivery for major opportunities in

security services

, including manned guarding, aviation, screening, and technology-led solutions Creating and maintaining project plans to ensure every element of the bid is delivered on time and to a high standard Leading on writing, editing, and structuring proposal content--making complex ideas clear, persuasive, and client-specific Working closely with Growth, Creative Solutions, and Operational teams to shape bespoke service models Turning sales and technical input into strong, engaging value propositions Supporting presentation and interview prep, ensuring our teams represent the very best of Wilson James Coordinating lessons-learned reviews and driving continuous improvement in how we bid

Has experience in a

bid or growth environment

, ideally with knowledge of

regulated sectors

or

security services

Is a confident communicator with a talent for

clear, compelling writing

and persuasive storytelling Understands how to manage competing deadlines and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative settings Enjoys working across disciplines and has the emotional intelligence to bring people together around a shared goal Is IT literate and familiar with tools like

Adobe InDesign

and

Microsoft Office

Has a proactive, can-do attitude, and is comfortable working independently and taking ownership
