About the team

With over 40 members, the Finance team is based across our London, Cardiff, Belfast and Hong Kong offices.


We are looking for a Billing Coordinator to be based in the London office and report to the Billing Manager.


The Billing Team works closely with the fee-earning departments to ensure client bills are issued in a timely manner. The team actively manage work in progress (WIP) to maximise billing and cash receipts on a monthly basis. In addition, the team liaises closely with the Cashiers and Credit Control team on billing and debt collection issues.





About the role


Preparation for and attendance at monthly WIP meetings for allocated Partners and Associates. Raising and engrossing proformas within the Billing workflow. All other billing related processes including credit notes. Managing the Billing inbox ensuring queries are dealt with in a prompt and timely manner. WIP & Disbursement write-offs and transfers. CP/MP/MH changes. Maintaining billing meeting schedule. Annual rate review for allocated Partners. Processing rate changes. Actioning client/matter closure and re-opening requests. Reviewing new client and matter requests in Intapp Workflow.



About you

The successful candidate must have a professional manner and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will enjoy working in a team environment and have excellent numerate skills and be highly organised. You must have a flexible nature and a co-operative and willing attitude.


Billing experience and experience of using Elite preferred, however not essential. Experience working within professional services, ideally legal. Ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly.
