Workshop Operative - Temporary to Permanent Position

We are seeking Blind Maker Operatives during a period of peak demand. The successful candidates will be part of a friendly, motivated, hard-working team, creating beautiful Window Blinds and Curtains for our customers.

The successful candidates need to be keen learner and have a hunger for quality and results. Previous workshop/manufacturing experience is preferred.

This role involves a wide range of tasks which includes (but not excluded to):

Cutting aluminum profiles and other raw material for the manufacture of blinds Assisting with the make up and testing of blinds on our assembly lines Setting up and preparing blinds for packaging Quality control and packaging of finished product
Pleated & Vertical blind experience is preferable but not essential.

It is essential that the successful candidates are willing to move between tasks as directed by the Production Manager and Team Leaders.

Hours of work are Mon - Thurs: 0730 - 1645, Fri: 0730 - 1600. This contract is temporary initially with a potential of becoming permanent, dependent on levels of work, performance and conduct.
