The Block Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our residential block, ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage tenant relations, coordinate maintenance requests, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a customer-focused approach, contributing to a harmonious living environment for all residents.
Responsibilities
Manage tenant communications, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and property documentation.
Utilise property management software for data entry and management of property-related information.
Conduct regular inspections of the block to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Prepare reports on occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and tenant feedback for management review.
Foster positive relationships with residents through effective phone etiquette and face-to-face interactions.
Skills
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in general office duties, including filing, record keeping, and correspondence management.
