A boutique firm providing accountancy and management services to a variety of corporate clients and individuals is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Office Coordinator to join our friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive office environment.
While a formal accountancy qualification is not essential, practical experience with a bookkeeping software and good working knowledge of Excel are desirable. A degree-level education is also preferred. Although not essential, knowledge of Italian language would be an advantage, as many of our clients are Italian-speaking.
The position is evenly split between supporting the accountancy team and assisting the admin team.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing sales and purchase ledgers
Performing bank and account reconciliations
Handling multi-currency transactions
Posting journals
Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
Filing documents and maintaining records
Raising up to 20 sales invoices monthly
Processing bank payments for office-related invoices
Ordering office supplies and managing relationships with suppliers
Supporting both accountancy and admin teams with ad hoc tasks
Working Hours:
Flexible working is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
