We are currently seeking an experienced

Bookkeeper

to join us in a

newly created role

--a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to

take ownership of the company's financial management

as we continue to grow. This role is vital to supporting the Company Director and ensuring smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in VAT preparation

Supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis, requesting invoices where required

Dealing with supplier / invoice queries or internal queries in relation to accounts payable

Managing company expenses

Reconciling incoming and outgoing payments

Handling monthly payroll in BrightPay

Producing monthly and detailed sales reports for the Director

Using Xero accounting software to maintain accurate financial records

Supporting at shows and events throughout the year (optional)

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a bookkeeping role

Proficiency in

Xero

accounting software

Experience in monthly payroll processing

Experience in pension processing

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently

Flexibility and enthusiasm to support a growing business

This is an

office-based role

with the potential to grow into a full-time position and potential to move to a hybrid role in the future. You'll be part of a dynamic team with strong values, helping to support a brand that takes pride in its British roots, sustainability, and innovation.
