Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Coalville. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, producing management reports, and supporting clients with accurate, insightful financial information. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and helping our clients thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately complete day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with deadlines.
Perform regular bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
Liaise with clients in a professional and supportive manner.
Produce management reports to support clients in understanding their financial position.
Use software such as Xero and Excel to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Requirements
Experienced bookkeeper with a strong background in purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, and VAT.
Qualified (AAT), part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with a proactive and client-focused approach.
Ideally previous practice experience.
Additional Requirements
Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
Good IT skills, especially in Excel.
Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero is ideal.
