We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. This role is crucial for the overall financial health of our organisation and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and software.
Duties
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Prepare monthly financial reports to assist management in decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software as needed.
Ensure that all financial transactions are processed using appropriate accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is essential.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders.
