We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a keen eye for detail to support the financial health of our organisation.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
