Bookkeeper
Job Description
Based in Market Harborough, we have been in business for 25+ years in Shoe Care, laces, insoles and polishes. You will be joining our team of forward-thinking go-getters.
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to take over our accounting, following retirement.
Proficient using Sage50 accounting Software essential.
Hours 5 days a week 9.00 - 5.00 pm, with an early finish on a Friday.
If you are the following, we could be looking for you: -
Experience in both Management and Financial Accounting.
Strong reporting and analytical skills including advanced MS Excel.
Good level of academic success. Excellent interpersonal skills Outgoing can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities: The Bookkeeper's responsibility is to process accurate figures, month and year end and keepin the team informed of deadline dates.
Completing ad hoc duties for the Directors and Senior Managers, and evaluating data of Sage stock for accuracy.
Skills/Personal Attributes:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Excel.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
Professional approach and attitude.
Experience:
Working knowledge of the Sage50 accounts software.
Competent at Bank reconciliation.
Competent on the phone and credit control.
Other Relevant Information:
You must feel confident of your work and able to be questioned on the same in meetings, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Position would be ideal for someone looking for a more varied and responsible role within an accounts office.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
