Spots & Stripes is a fast-growing, award-winning skincare brand on a mission to save teens from bad skin. Our products are natural, earth-friendly, and made in the Somerset countryside. We work in an informal yet dynamic environment based in the beautiful surroundings of the founder's home. It's not your typical office - and there are three friendly Maine Coon cats ready to "assist" with your daily tasks.
Perks of the job? You'll get to try out our amazing products and be part of a small, passionate team making a big difference.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Brand Assistant to support our small team across a variety of tasks. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with lots of variety, ideal for a smart, enthusiastic post-university candidate interested in e-commerce or gaining experience while exploring future career options.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling customer service via email and social media (including tracking orders and responding to queries/DMs)
Monitoring stock levels (products, packaging, marketing materials) and placing orders when needed
Carefully packing orders for press and influencers
General administrative duties
Occasional PA tasks for the founder
Assisting with social media designs and simple social media content tasks (a passion for and experience with social media is a bonus, not essential)
The working environment is calm, organised, and friendly. You will need to be hardworking, trustworthy, and flexible with your time.
A driving licence and daily access to a car is essential, as regular trips to and from the Post Office, warehouse and occasional errands are part of the role.
Hours
We need someone to start in early January 2026. The earlier you're able to start, the more time you'll be able to spend learning the role with our current Brand Assistant.
Monday-Friday, typically 10am-6pm, with some flexibility required. All hours are in-person.
What We're Looking For
Excellent office admin skills
Great attention to detail and high standards
Strong organisational and time management skills
A problem-solving mindset
Self-motivation and a willingness to learn
Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment
Knowledge of Excel and Canva
A driving licence (due to our countryside location)
If you're excited by the idea of working in a beautiful, cat-friendly environment with a brand that's making a real difference, we'd love to hear from you!
