Shift pattern is 7am - 3pm, predominantly Monday - Friday however, some weekend work is required

Duties

Assist the Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Prepare & cook breakfast service Ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production Follow food safety procedures, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen Complete a range of food preparation activities, ensuring timely delivery of orders to service areas Support with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hygiene Demonstrable supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively Skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary presentation Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and management Previous experience in food production, restaurant service, or hospitality is highly desirable A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn and develop further within the industry
