This is not fine-dining! We don't work silly, unsociable hours. And we will provide you will an excellent grounding in culinary skills while preparing simple, fresh, delicious food for our nursery school customers. It's the perfect place to kick off your career in the hospitality industry.

What you'll do



Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and presentation meet our standards. Support the kitchen team with inventory management, including tracking supplies and assisting with ordering. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices. Participate in menu planning alongside experienced chefs, contributing creative ideas and learning about ingredient selection. Engage in food service management tasks, ensuring timely delivery of meals during busy service periods. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Learn about dietary needs and preferences to assist in creating inclusive menu options for all guests.

Basic requirements



Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Beneficial qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is a plus but not essential. We'll help you to learn everything you need to know. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards also beneficial however HACCP training will be provided and funded as required. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools is beneficial but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Graduate

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
