We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a culinary role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Operating over 2 sites our opening times are Mon-Fri 0700-1430 Sat & Sun 0700 - 1230.
Duties
Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring all food meets specified standards.
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Help with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout shifts.
Cook and serve our valued customers, taking card and cash payments diligently
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a fast paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Basic culinary skills with an understanding of meal preparation techniques.
Experience in serving customers or working in a hospitality setting is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
