Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced and passionate

Breakfast Manager

to support the Management team at our exciting new restaurant and cafe concept in

Edinburgh

. This will be a morning-based role with structured hours working 5 days out of 7, possibly suitable for those with families or other commitments outside of the workplace.

As the Breakfast Manager, you'll open the restaurant and be responsible for the preparation and oversight of our busy breakfast services, setting the tone for an exceptional customer experience and building a positive, high-performing team culture. This is a

full-time, hands-on role

that requires a strong background in

restaurant/hotel management

within a

fast-paced, high-volume

environment.

Duties

Perform opening and setup duties. Manage morning operations of the venue, ensuring smooth running and adherence to policies and procedures. Oversee coffee operations - both restaurant service and a high-volume takeaway trade Supervise staff, providing training and support to ensure high levels of performance and guest satisfaction. Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and compliance Implement health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances the guest experience.

Experience

Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly breakfast services, is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest services. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in using venue management software or similar systems is advantageous. Able to thrive in a new opening environment and adapt as the business grows.
