Hotel Scarborough is just outside of North Walsham. With 9 bedrooms and 2 cottages, we cater to lots of visitors daily during the summer season, providing exceptional hospitality and dining experiences.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at Hotel Scarborough. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals to our guests and ensuring a smooth operation in our busy kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
