Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction site Manager to oversee a high end residential building site. Site Value 300,000 - 500,000

This is a hands on role and you will be leading a small team. Ideally you will have previously had a trade.

We are a small high end residential construction company based in London.

Role & Responsibilities



Project Planning and Coordination:



Develop comprehensive project plans along side Senior Operations Director Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met. Manage project schedules and milestones, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

Team Leadership and Supervision:



Lead and motivate construction teams, including subcontractors Provide guidance (walk through) and direction to ensure work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with project goals. Monitor progress and quality of work.

Budget and Cost Management:



Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control measures are implemented. Review and approve project expenditures, change orders, and payment requests. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.

Safety and Compliance:



Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Stay informed about industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for construction teams.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:



Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or issues promptly. Foster positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and project success.

Quality Assurance:



Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the construction process. Ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly. Review and report feedback regarding Labour and Trades performance standard of work

Requirements

:
- Proven experience as a Building Manager
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong organisational skills

- 1st Aid

- Computer literate

Job Type: Full-time
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 200.00 per day
