Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications.
Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain stock levels to minimise waste.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to coordinate service times and optimise customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Supervising experience with the ability to manage team members effectively.
Strong background in food production, food preparation, and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Experience in hospitality or serving roles is advantageous but not essential.
