The role



Product Development plays a pivotal role in delivering the overall consumer and customer digital experience underpinning the Rightmove business . We recognise that to deliver the best products and features for our customers and consumers we need to work together effectively as a healthy and high performing team. W ithin Product Development, we work collaboratively across a mix of product and centralised teams, bringing together the right people with the right skills, to continually move us towards our strategic goals .



The Business Analyst role will sit within the Business Analysis team and contribute towards the development of the Business Analysis practice at Rightmove .


Their primary customers will be our internal Product teams, and they will provide a high-quality analysis service to these teams , to support the develop ment and deliver y of new products and features to Rightmove customers and consumers .


They may also be assigned to work on complex cross-product initiatives.



The Business Analyst role will work closely with Head s of Product and Product Managers , as well as with Engineer s , Design ers , Architect s and broader stakeholders .

A typical week as a Business Analyst:



Attend Product Backlog meetings to identify and/or raise potential analysis opportunities Carry out Discovery analysis for a new product or enhancement, and present your findings back to the Head of Product/Product Manager Identify and assess potential use cases for AI-driven efficiencies Run workshops to gather and prioritise requirements for a third-party SaaS solution, contributing to the RFP and designing a clear scoring matrix for solution assessment Analys e transaction data to identify trends that can help drive product enhancement s Support the acceptance testing of a new featu re where you were responsible for detailing the user story
Present to the wider BA team on a recent challenge, and identify service improvements or individual development areas based on discussion and feedback


We are looking for someone who:



Has experience of working within a product-led, agile environment, collaborating directly with internal software developers as well as with third-party suppliers Can build strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, and is able to communicate complex problems in easily understandable ways Is comfortable working with a broad range of Business Analysis techniques to produce high-quality outputs (including process definition and redesign, requirements management and user story definition, feasibility and options assessment, solution evaluation, and business case development) Has experience of defining data requirements and integration specifications for APIs Is comfortable analysing large data sets to identify themes and trends Is f amiliar with story-tracking and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Is proactive and outcome-focused
