Job Description

As the Business Co-ordinator you will be part of a friendly team who are involved in providing a diverse range of professional business support services across three sites within a defence environment. The role is predominantly based at RAF Shawbury however travel to other sites may be required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

You will be involved with:

Co-ordinating a range of business and training activities for employees, trainees and partners across our sites. Compiling, inputting and interpreting accurate data within a variety of systems. Providing business reports and analysing data to support business performance. Delivering a range of Health & Safety activities and proactively supporting the requirement for safety compliance at our sites. Monitoring and controlling site budget expenditure and actively pursuing value for money alternatives to reduce costs. Providing a range of policy advice and guidance to employees, trainees and partners to support compliance. Support and assist the Business Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of the department.

Ascent Flight Training was appointed in 2008 to design and deliver a modern and efficient flying training system by the UK MOD.


Created as a joint venture between Lockheed Martin UK AND Babcock International; and is responsible within the UK Military Flight Training System (UKMFTS) for the training design and training delivery that creates the next generation of aircrew.
