Business Development Executive - Marketing Focus (Construction Industry)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Executive with a degree in Marketing and proven experience in marketing and business growth, ideally within the construction or property development sector. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, enhancing brand visibility, and driving targeted marketing campaigns to support expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, competitor strategies, customer demands, and growth opportunities within the construction sector.
Analyse industry reports and marketing data to guide decision-making and refine business strategies.
2. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that align with the company's brand and business goals.
Manage digital marketing initiatives including social media, website updates, and online advertising to increase brand awareness.
Create engaging marketing content, brochures, case studies, and promotional materials.
3. Business Development Planning:
Work closely with directors to develop long-term strategies for business expansion and client acquisition.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic networking, tenders, referrals, and lead generation.
4. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through regular engagement and excellent service.
5. Proposal & Presentation Development:
Prepare professional proposals, pitch decks, and presentations tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals reflect the company's capabilities and value.
6. Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and develop partnerships with estate agents, architects, developers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Attend relevant industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to build a network of valuable contacts.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Maintain detailed records of business development activities, marketing performance metrics, and client communications.
Provide regular reports to management with insights and recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the construction or property development industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and client acquisition strategies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM systems and marketing platforms.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
