As a Business Development Executive, you will be fundamental in building and developing successful, long-standing business relationships with new customers for an interim period, providing consistent high levels of customer service until the account is well established within TKC.
You are also responsible for the development and growth of existing nil and low spending accounts. This will be done with an outbound business to business contact strategy.
Each Business Development Executive will be aligned to a zone, to work collaboratively with the ASM ensuring we maximise sales potential for the zone and prospect new business to help expand the area.
You will ensure compliance is met for your area helping support your ASM on outstanding tasks and customer contact
Key Tasks:
Work alongside your Area Sales Manager to ensure all customers are contacted within the agreed cycle.
Responsible for helping develop and grow our existing database.
Responsible for the internal management of new customer business for an interim period
Promotion of the Companys brand portfolio and its value proposition to generate awareness within the customer base.
Making outbound sales calls to understand our customer needs and where TKC can gain business.
Dealing with customer enquiries on products, pricing, delivery schedules and more
Working closely with ASMs on the development of the new and target customers
Completing pricing comparisons against our competitors to ensure we win market share.
Working closely with ASMs on growing existing low and nil spending customer
Processing orders accurately onto Access Supply Chain
Management of online ordering
Taking credit card payments for orders when required
Managing incoming and outgoing calls to high quality business standards
Quote chasing.
Ensuring all clients are managed with exceptional care.
Strong commercial awareness, aligned to the business strategy.
Hosting site visits for customers
Attending customer premises
Network within customers and prospects to generate referral business.
Keep CRM systems updated and accurate.
Conducting handover meetings for accounts being passed on to Sales Admin/Kitchen Quotes
Prospect new business for your zone.
Following up promotions with your customer base
Work closely with customers to promote rebates, displays, sample to tie in a customers business
