Business Development Executive
to represent our award-winning waste and recycling brand across the
Chesterfield and Nottingham area
.

About the Role
As part of our growing Business Development team, you'll:
Be the face of Ward Recycling in your local patch, identifying and converting new business opportunities
Promote our total waste solutions, including specialist compaction services
Carry out around 10 quality site visits a day, building trusted relationships with commercial clients
Structure your own working week while delivering outstanding results
Hold a weekly one-to-one meeting with the Head of Sales (Waste) to review progress and strategy
Participate in monthly sales meetings to share best practice and stay aligned with company goals
Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new customers
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best service for your clients
What You'll Need
Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing B2B roles
Confident, bubbly, and persuasive personality - people should love talking to you
Strong resilience and tenacity - you'll thrive on chasing down leads and closing deals
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
Full UK Driving Licence
Ideally based in or around Chesterfield, with a good knowledge of the local area
