Leeds (Hybrid - 4 days in office) Full-Time | Permanent Sales & Marketing Department Salary: 28,000-40,000 + commission (based on experience)
About the Role
We're hiring a
Business Development Executive
to join our growing team at a pivotal time for Data Protection People. With a new Sales & Marketing Director in place and an exciting transformation underway, now is your chance to be part of something big.
You'll play a key role in generating leads, building relationships, and helping us grow our client base. As a senior member of the BDE team, you'll also have the opportunity to take on added responsibility and shape how we approach business development.
What You'll Do
Make outbound calls to new prospects and build strong relationships.
Follow up on existing opportunities and keep leads warm.
Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Book client meetings and support product demonstrations.
Achieve monthly KPIs and targets set by the Sales & Marketing Director.
Update CRM systems with accurate client and opportunity data.
Cross-sell services to existing clients and re-engage past customers.
Attend industry events to network and generate new business.
Work closely with the delivery team to ensure smooth handover of new clients.
Who You Are
We're looking for someone ambitious, proactive, and ready to hit the ground running.
Essential:
Self-motivated and target-driven.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Confident using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience using Salesforce CRM.
Background in professional services or B2B sales.
