Overall purpose of the job:
To secure new name Managed Services business within the private and public sector market space in the Exponential-e and Xpertex services portfolios
+ Generating new opportunities through an outreach go to market strategy through targeted online and offline approaches including prospecting, social media, calls and campaigns
+ Build a sustainable pipeline to exceed goals and targets ensuring that the go to market strategy is alined to the growth plans of the company
+ Supporting on opportunities and selling the wider Xpertex and Exponential-e portfolio of products and services to companies that are not currently customers of Exponential-e
+ To act as an advocate of Xpertex and the Exponential-e Group in all customer interactions and within the external marketplace
+ To support the director with the sales strategy and the sales team in achieving its growth plans for the coming years
Key responsibilities for this job:
+ To ensure sales targets are achieved on a Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis
- To identify new opportunities through regular telemarketing and digital platform messaging, e.g LinkedIn
- To inform Sales strategies and liaise with Marketing to produce campaigns to increase market share, raising awareness of the Xpertex brand and technology
- To support our continued growth within the chosen marketplace and ensure enhanced profile within the private and public sector areas
- To competently and knowledgably advise clients on managed and professional services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessments and analysis of client needs
- To constantly keep your knowledge current through vendor training and update sessions and webinars
- To negotiate pricing with clients to achieve sales in line with Exponential-e Group's pricing policies and client requirements
+ Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales is required, along with regular activity reporting
- Participation in planning and preparing marketing campaigns along with your own targeted campaigns
- To build appropriate vendor relationships in support of the sales mission
- To ensure that the CRM systems are up to date for all accounts, customer contacts, prospects, deals and opportunities
- Attending networking events which at times may include activities outside of normal work hours
- To take responsibility for and achieve personal and career advancement goals in line with Exponential-e's personal development program
- Establish and coordinate planned visits at the customer location and at Exponential-e
- Company presentations to C-level executives
- To identify, develop and bring on new accounts to manage. Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across the Group portfolio
- Any other fair and reasonable task or duty assigned to you by your line manager, or other senior Exponential-e Group staff member
Knowledge and experience required:
+ Consistent new business sales record within the managed services space
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to 'win trust', selling on the quality and integrity of Xpertex and the Exponential-e Group
- An ambitious, industrious and aspirational mind-set
- Can-do attitude, high achievement drive and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Ability to use modern tools and social media platforms to develop and nurture contacts to create new business
- Experienced selling into the SME market
- Must be driven, self-motivated and disciplined
- Good presentation skills
- Eager to learn and develop
- Committed, engaged, and responsible when dealing with customers
- Knowledge of cyber security, networking vendors (Juniper, Palo Alto, Arista) LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN and Internet and connectivity network technologies an advantage
