Goose + Berry is a leading luxury catering company based in Maidenhead, delivering exceptional weddings, social celebrations, and corporate events across London and the Home Counties.

We're seeking a driven and commercially minded

Business Development Manager

to take the lead in growing our client base, securing high-value event contracts, growing our London market share and forging strong, long-term relationships. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on winning new business, smashing sales targets, and playing a pivotal part in the continued growth of a premium events brand.

Salary:

32,000 basic + excellent commission structure (OTE 50,000)

Key Responsibilities



Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across weddings, social, and corporate events Generate and convert leads into confirmed bookings, consistently achieving sales targets Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and market presence Negotiate confidently with prospective and existing clients to maximise profitability Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and venues Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline, from initial enquiry to contract signing Conduct face-to-face client meetings and presentations at a senior level Collaborate with the event delivery team to ensure seamless handover and exceptional service for every client Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports, ensuring all KPIs are met or exceeded

Skills & Experience



Proven track record in sales or business development within the events, hospitality, or luxury service industries Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and maximise ROI Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Resilient, results-driven, and confident when engaging with clients at all levels Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and converting opportunities A passion for premium events and an understanding of what makes them exceptional
