The Pharmacist Network is a leading private healthcare organisation partnering with Primary Care providers across the UK, in collaboration with Morph Clinical Services, We specialise in recruiting and employing clinical pharmacy professionals - pharmacists and pharmacy technicians - who are placed into GP practices and Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to enhance patient care and streamline practice operations.

The Pharmacist Network currently employ over 250 clinicians across the UK and are continuing to grow. Our fast-paced, values-driven environment is ideal for someone who thrives on making a positive impact and working collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Our Morph organisation is a pharmacist managed and pharmacist led organisation with approaching 20 years of experience in supporting pharmacy professionals working in primary care. We offer a wide range of educational sessions, academies and our educational platform to help those working in Primary Care to progress their CPD while enhancing both their confidence and their competence, with over 16,000 members already on our network.

Role Overview



As a Business Development Executive, you will support the growth of The Pharmacist Network by identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and supporting our expansion into new regions and partnerships. You'll work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and other senior team members to generate leads, build relationships, and drive new opportunities in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, who is confident, target-driven, and eager to grow within the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities



Identify and engage with prospective GP practices and PCNs to promote our services Generate and qualify new business leads through outbound calls, emails, and networking Arrange and attend introductory meetings, calls, or presentations with potential clients Work collaboratively with internal teams to support client proposals and follow-ups Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and activity in the CRM system Achieve agreed activity and conversion targets in line with business growth objectives Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within Primary Care Represent The Pharmacist Network in a professional and knowledgeable manner Support the development of marketing and sales campaigns where required Contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes and performance tracking

About You



Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer service Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously Comfortable working to targets and KPIs Positive and professional attitude with a strong team ethic Experience using a CRM system is advantageous Interest in healthcare and Primary Care is desirable but not essential

Pay: 25,000.00-29,000.00 per year

Flexitime Monday to Friday
