Brunel is expanding and we're looking to recruit locally to the Penzance area. We're looking for fresh young executives who aspire to become our future brokers. If you're ready to start your career in insurance and want to aim high by building positive relationships across our town then this role is for you. We are offering a salary of 24,000 with a realistic total OTE of 25,500

About the role

We are thrilled to be opening our Penzance office this summer and are recruiting for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing team. As a Brunel Business development executive, (on-the-road business executive) you will have a growth mindset, enjoy meeting business owners, managers and clients face to face. You will help to grow our company by physically visiting as many local businesses as possible each day to promote Brunel Group and proactively capture product renewal dates, so we can support our local community by insuring them with us and helping them benefit from our in-house claims team and our Brunel suite of policies. You will become an expert in generating leads and current insurance agreements. You will enjoy following up with your clients and will have a base at our Penzance office.

About you

You will have fantastic interpersonal skills and take pride in your appearance. You will be engaging and will follow up with clients in person, over the phone and digitally, you will have a drive to achieve your targets and excited to start and end your day meeting different businesses and being the face of Brunel Group. Objection handling would be second nature and promoting Brunel Insurance features and benefits will become your passion. You will be technically competent with IT and able to learn and update our systems at the end of your shift back at our Penzance office.
