About the Role



As we scale from our revenue by 45% in 2026, we're building a more mature, data-driven, and accountable sales capability to match the sophistication of the rest of the business. The Head of Sales will be both a builder and a doer - leading from the front by generating, qualifying, and closing mid-market deals, while also embedding the structure and discipline needed for scalable, predictable growth. You'll own the sales engine end-to-end, driving outbound activity, converting leads, managing the pipeline, and ensuring performance across the Sales, Marketing, and Client Partner teams. You'll bring commercial energy, precision, and pace to how we sell - turning marketing leads into revenue, creating new opportunities, and building a clear, repeatable sales rhythm across the business.



Key Responsibilities



Own and drive the sales engine - pipeline management, CRM hygiene, forecasting, reporting, and accountability across all active pursuits. Lead from the front on business development - generating and qualifying leads, running outbound campaigns, and personally closing deals. Turn marketing warm leads into contracts - partnering closely with the Marketing Director and Sales Director to move opportunities through to signed agreements. Build and manage your own book of business - targeting mid-market opportunities (250k-5m) with shorter sales cycles to complement the Sales Director's large, strategic pursuits (5m+). Embed structure, visibility, and discipline in the sales process, ensuring every lead, opportunity, and follow-up has clear ownership and next steps. Use data to drive decisions, use Hubspot to track conversion rates, win/loss trends, and outbound performance to continuously improve. Client partner / director collaboration Develop public sector insight, maintain an informed view of market dynamics, frameworks, and client drivers to shape proactive outreach and positioning. Build for scale. Document processes, create repeatable playbooks, and establish the foundations for a resilient, succession-ready sales function.

Collaborative and pragmatic, you work confidently across Marketing, Commercial, and Delivery to ensure every pursuit is well qualified, well priced, and positioned to succeed.

You'll strengthen visibility across the pipeline, improve forecasting accuracy, and create the rhythm and accountability that turn great leads into sustainable growth for Tecknuovo



You'll bring:





Proven track record in sales, ideally within consulting or professional services, technology services, or public sector markets. A natural closer, comfortable driving your own pipeline from outreach to contract. Commercially sharp, data-driven, and highly organised with the ability to balance strategic oversight and hands-on delivery. Brings experience across sales operations, revenue growth, and business development, not just pipeline management. Deep understanding of public sector procurement and decision-making. Confident working cross-functionally with Marketing, Client Partners, and Delivery to align activity with capacity and demand. Energetic, pragmatic, and comfortable building structure in a fast-scaling environment.

A typical day might include:



Reviewing the pipeline and HubSpot dashboards to prioritise outreach and track conversion. Partnering with Marketing to turn warm leads into live pursuits and align on campaign performance. Meeting with the Commercial Lead to structure and price opportunities for success. Collaborating with Client Partners and Delivery to ensure proposals are deliverable and aligned with client need. Preparing or leading a mid-market client pitch or negotiation. Reporting on pipeline progress and win/loss insights to drive continuous improvement.

This is a fast-paced, outcome-driven role where you'll combine business development energy with commercial discipline, creating opportunities, building relationships, and turning insight into growth.
