Summary
The Business Development Manager will report to the Director of Business Development and will have responsibility for the development and growth of the Laboratory Services business for Broughton with clients based globally, along with develop of our standalone consultancy services. With a remit spanning pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and Lifestyle sectors, you will demonstrate your ability to identify and onboard new clients as well as retain and grow existing accounts.

- Earby, BB18. Expectation to be on site 2 x days per week or as required.
Basic salary plus car allowance and commission.
Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and lead sales activities to accelerate business development, win contracts, and capture market share.
Retain and grow existing accounts, monitoring and maximising customer relationship scores.
When new clients are secured, manage the relationship to obtain further ongoing business.
Achieving the targets agreed for both revenue generation and profitability.
Collaborating with the wider company to identify opportunities and trends.
Requirement
3+ years proven experience in Business Development - Preferred.
Results driven, persuasive, confident, persistent and adaptable - Essential.
A scientific background and knowledge of the nicotine or pharmaceutical markets - highly desirable
Proven experience in winning business to business contracts.
Excellent communicator capable of building relationships and managing stakeholders at all levels.
Professional and trustworthy individual with drive and passion to complete work to tight deadlines.
Results driven, customer-focused, and hardworking.
Ability to consider options outside of the standard and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Full driver's licence is essential.
