Overview



We have an incredible opportunity to expand our high-performing Business Development Sales Team. Working with like-minded, hardworking and ambitious insurance specialists to drive our revenue goals whilst delivering a fantastic service to our clients, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Taking a strategic approach to driving organic growth for your broker panel, you're focussed on great customer outcomes and hitting targets!



How you'll make an impact



Your Role:
Generate new business by recognising, growing and maintaining business relationships. Take client relationship management to a new high and set it at the heart of your actions. Achievement of growth targets as well as other key company KPIs. Externally focussed and customer facing role with an emphasis on being on territory in front of key customers to agree growth plans. Manage your sales priorities to build and implement strategic plans for your region. Ensure full understanding of company capabilities with your customer base through delivery of face to face and remote presentations. Drive and be actively involved in the winning and securing of both new and existing customers.



About You



Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Holding or working towards one of the CII Qualifications is advantageous; with a good working knowledge of general insurance. External insurance sales development experience is very desirable although experience in the exact same role is not essential. Self-motivated with the drive and tenacity to find solutions to customer problems. Confidence to present in-front of large groups of customers a pre-requisite. Knowledge of your local market and insurance industry network is desirable, along with a proven track record of delivering against targets within a regulated, measurable framework. Excellent communicator and networker with the ability to collaborate with underwriting teams is essential. Tactical and strategic influencing, first class rapport-building experience along with outstanding interpersonal skills, will set you apart. The ability to adapt, strong organisational skills and a results driven attitude are all crucial. The highest degree of ethics and integrity in client focus matched with a natural desire to win. Proficient in MS office, and eligible to work in the UK
