About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated
Business Sales Manager
to identify and build long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients in our clothing department, driving our business forward. Experience in sales within the retail or fashion sectors is a significant advantage. You will be responsible for identifying potential new clients, devising strategies to gain their business, and building a pipeline of new opportunities. We'll provide you with all the tools to succeed; you just need to bring passion, enthusiasm, and a positive, can-do attitude to meet your targets.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Business:
Proactively identify and secure new B2B clients through a combination of phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
Build and Nurture Relationships:
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
Manage the Sales Cycle:
Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial lead generation and pipeline management to closing deals and preparing orders.
Travel:
Regularly travel to meet clients in person to discuss their outdoor clothing needs and recommend the best product solutions.
Achieve Goals:
Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
Administration:
Manage and maintain a client database and prepare orders while checking stock.
On-site activities include to invoice and quote customers, aid in some picking and packing of orders.
The Ideal Candidate
A
self-starter
with a strong sales background and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
Preferably has a background in the retail or outdoor clothing sector.
Exceptional
relationship-builder
with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
Highly
organised
and adept at managing a busy schedule of client meetings and administrative tasks.
Computer literate and familiar with the MS Office Suite and Google Suite.
Willing to be out on the road visiting current and new clients regularly.
Salary and Benefits
Base Salary:
30,000.00 per year
Additional Pay:
Competitive Bonus Plan (with uncapped earning potential)
Company Car:
Provided with fuel for all business use
Schedule:
Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location:
Office-based in Birmingham, B14 4ST, with regular travel to clients.
