We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at OnCall Doctors. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of market trends and have experience in utilising CRM software, including Salesforce, to manage client interactions and sales processes effectively.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business strategies and client deliverables.
Utilise CRM software, particularly Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on performance metrics.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's products and services.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
Attend industry events/BD meetings and conferences to expand professional network and promote the company's brand.
Manage social media and creative advertising with partners.
Manage a small team of clinicians and administrators.
Develop new services and put in place processes with team support.
Manage estate processes.
Responsibility of staff development and appraisal.
Responsibility of payments of suppliers.
Conduct audits and reports in relation to CQC regulation.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong proficiency in CRM software; experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented in execution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire for continuous improvement.
