Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager/Sales Engineer
with a strong fabrication background who can work independently to generate new business. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is confident developing leads, building relationships, and translating customer needs into clear technical briefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online tools.
Meet with Facilities Managers, Engineers, and technical stakeholders to understand and solve customer needs.
Communicate technical solutions effectively and provide all necessary information to our estimating team.
Manage customer relationships post-sale to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Input and manage all sales activities in our bespoke CRM system.
What We're Looking For:
Strong background in fabrication, welding, or engineering (essential).
Proven experience in technical sales or business development.
Confident speaking with technically minded professionals.
Able to work independently and proactively.
Full UK driving licence (required for client visits).
