Job Title: Business Development Manager Fire & Security Systems


Location: Darwen


Full-time, Permanent


Salary: 40,000


Are you a driven sales professional with a background in fire and security systems? Were looking for a Business Development Manager to join our established sales team and play a key role in growing our client base across a range of sectors.


Youll be responsible for generating and closing project sales opportunities for a wide range of systems, including Fire Detection, Sprinklers, Suppression, Security, Voice, Monitoring and Integrated Solutions. This is a great opportunity to work with both new and existing clients, helping them protect their people, property, and operations

What You'll Be Doing



Identifying and developing new business opportunities with end users and FM providers Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and sector clients Conducting site surveys and preparing accurate, compelling proposals Managing the sales process from quote to close, meeting targets for volume and margin Creating maintenance quotations and responding effectively to inbound enquiries Producing clear, professional quotes using company tools and formats Keeping systems updated, and reporting regularly on sales performance



What Youll Bring



Proven experience in fire and security sales or a related technical role Strong knowledge of systems such as Fire Detection, PAVA, EVCS, Suppression Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Experience in structured sales or sales training (desirable) FIA (or equivalent) certification in fire detection and alarm systems Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems A high level of integrity and attention to detail
