The Role



Hours

: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location

: Modern head office near Falkirk (3 miles from Bathgate, 5 miles from Falkirk)

: Head of Marketing

We're looking for an energetic Business Development Manager to help us grow our already impressive client base. This is perfect for someone who loves the thrill of generating new opportunities and building relationships, but doesn't necessarily want the pressure of closing every deal as our experienced sales team handles that side of things!

You'll be the friendly face of Benholm, reaching out to potential clients, researching new opportunities, and creating that crucial first connection. Think of yourself as the bridge between our incredible services and the businesses that could benefit from them.

What You'll Be Doing:



Developing creative lead generation strategies across multiple channels Conducting market research to identify exciting new opportunities Building relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers Qualifying leads and setting up meetings for our sales team Managing our CRM system and providing regular updates Attending networking events and industry functions (including occasional evening events) Staying ahead of plant design trends and market developments

What We're Looking For



Essential:



3+ years of successful business development or sales experience Proven track record of meeting targets and KPIs Outstanding communication skills and natural relationship builder Full, clean UK driving licence (regular travel required) Self-motivated with a genuine 'can-do' attitude Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines

Desirable:



Experience in consultative selling approaches Interest in sustainability, wellbeing, or design Comfortable using social media for business development

Don't worry if you've never worked with plants or interior design before

- we'll provide comprehensive training. What matters most is your enthusiasm, professionalism, and ability to build genuine connections with people.
