Business Development Manager

The Opportunity:

We're expanding our footprint in the Humberside region and are seeking a

Business Development Manager

to join our team. Working closely with our well-established

Hull branch

, you will play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and supporting clients with technically sound solutions.

As Business Development Manager, your role is to drive business growth in your area through:

Identifying your target customers and creating sales opportunities

Visiting existing and prospect clients and building positive relationships

Liaising with colleagues to develop sales strategies

Attending events such as networking, conferences and trade fairs

Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings

Preparing financial projections and delivering sales targets

Understanding the full product range and service offerings and creating valued added opportunities with customers

Liaising with our technical support division to maximise sales opportunities

To secure this role you will need:

Experience of

hire and sales

within the construction or utilities sector and knowledge of survey or technical safety equipment would be preferred.

A positive, self-motivated attitude and the ability to work within a fast-paced team is essential.

Superb organisation skills

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Full clean drivers' licence

SALARY RANGE: 30-40K depending on experience and suitability (+ up to 9k commission)

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: Vehicle, Phone, Laptop, Fuel Card, Company Credit Card

HOURS: Monday to Friday 7.30am-4.30pm

ANNUAL LEAVE: 25 days plus bank holidays

PENSION: Contribution to a pension in line with mandatory government workplace pension scheme

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
