We're looking for a commercially-driven Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition for MBL's digital gift card aggregation platform. You will report into the Head of Business Development.


This role will focus on acquiring new B2B clients across emerging digital channels such as digital malls, budgeting apps, crypto cash-out platforms, and the rewards and benefits ecosystem. The BDM will lead proactive outreach, strategic prospecting, and full-cycle deal closure with commercially valuable accounts. This is a pivotal role in delivering MBL's ambitious growth targets and positioning MBL's platforms as the leading solution in the UK market.



Main Responsibilities:

Execute MBL's commercial growth plan by acquiring new clients across high-potential digital sectors. Identify and pursue emerging market opportunities (e.g. digital malls, fintech, rewards, and government schemes). Build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, campaigns, and industry networking. Lead full-cycle B2B sales from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Build senior-level relationships with decision-makers across target sectors. Ensure all deals are structured and finalised in line with MBL's commercial and legal processes.

Person Specification:


Skills & Experience

Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of closing new business. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Comfortable using CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline.

Commercially astute and entrepreneurial. Collaborative, resilient, and proactive. Strong attention to detail and highly organised. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
