Job Description

The Health & Safety Group is an established organisation providing nationwide training services across healthcare and education sectors and is currently expanding into new market sectors. We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to work from our head office in Chiswick Business Park, London.

The role is pivotal in driving revenue growth through strategic client relationship management, new business acquisition, and delivering compelling service demonstrations across the UK market. Experience in healthcare and/ or education markets is desirable.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Business Development

Drive end-to-end sales from lead generation through to conversion Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target market segments Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and KPIs Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM system
Client Relationship Management

Manage and nurture key client accounts to ensure retention and growth Develop long-term partnerships through exceptional service delivery Conduct regular account reviews and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities Handle contract negotiations and renewal discussions
Presentations & Demonstrations

Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to client stakeholders Present at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings Prepare and deliver proposals and tender responses Collaborate with Marketing to create compelling content for lead generation
CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate records in Pipedrive CRM system Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for directors Track and analyse sales metrics to optimise performance

Essential Requirements



Experience & Skills

3-5 years' experience in business development or sales role Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Experience using CRM systems (HSG currently uses Pipedrive) Strong presentation and demonstration skills with ability to engage diverse audiences Excellent negotiation and closing skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-motivated with ability to work independently Results-oriented with commercial acumen Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels
Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Experience with digital presentation tools and video conferencing platforms Valid UK driving licence (travel to client sites required)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
