We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the Chinese inbound tourism market?.

As Business Development Manager, you will:

Lead the company's expansion into the Chinese inbound tourism market; Develop and manage strategic partnerships; Oversee key client accounts; Ensure high-quality service delivery that meets both operational and financial objectives.
This role is critical to growing Bestravel Limited's footprint in the UK inbound travel sector, particularly among Mandarin-speaking clientele from mainland China.

Responsibilities



Identify, engage, and negotiate with new Chinese business partners and travel agencies to secure long-term service contracts. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction. Analyse market trends in Chinese inbound tourism and adjust offerings accordingly to meet demand and remain competitive. Manage B2B and B2C sales activities, including pricing strategy, client presentations, and product positioning in the Chinese market. Lead commercial negotiations and draft tailored travel proposals for group and individual travel clients. Coordinate with internal staff and third-party providers (hotels, transport companies, tour guides) to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations. Represent the company at trade shows, tourism expos, and online promotional campaigns (including platforms like WeChat, Redbook, Mafengwo). Oversee digital marketing campaigns targeting Chinese consumers and travel agencies. Develop and monitor performance metrics, reporting directly to the Board on client acquisition, revenue targets, and ROI. Train junior staff or interns in sales, cultural communication, and business protocol when working with Chinese partners.

Experience



Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within the travel, tourism or hospitality sectors. Strong knowledge of the Chinese tourism market and cultural nuances. Native or fluent Mandarin speaker; fluent in English (written and spoken). Experience working with Mandarin-language social media and marketing platforms (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu/Redbook). Commercial negotiation experience and an understanding of pricing, commission, and margin management. High-level communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously.

Pay: 39,000.00-45,000.00 per year
