Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Business Development Manager

with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions experience join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Leadership:

Define and evolve the business development strategy in alignment with overall company objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership to set annual revenue targets and go?to?market priorities.
Full?Cycle Sales Ownership:

Identify potential clients and generate new business through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the company's products and services.
Relationship Management:

Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts; ensure exceptional post?sale engagement and grow expansion opportunities.
Team Enablement & Mentorship:

Mentor junior business development and sales team members on best practices for ERP positioning, value?based selling, and pipeline management. Partner with marketing, pre?sales consultants, and delivery teams to develop compelling proposals, sales collateral, and customer success stories.
Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership:

Conduct in?depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and product differentiators. Represent the company at industry events, ERP user groups, and executive forums to showcase thought leadership.
Sales Operations & Reporting:

Maintain a robust CRM pipeline; provide weekly and monthly forecasts, pipeline dashboards, and executive summaries. Leverage data analytics to uncover new business opportunities and optimize conversion rates. Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.

Education & Experience



Experience with B2B software sales, with a preference towards those with experience focused specifically on ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.). Proven track record of closing deals. Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills:



Strong understanding of ERP architectures, implementation methodologies, and ROI justification. Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and Excel?based forecasting/modeling.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives. Self?motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving transformative business outcomes. Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and conferences. Valid drivers license
